The Neil Simon Theatre is a Broadway theatre located at 250 West 52nd Street in midtown Manhattan. It was designed and built by Herbert J. Krapp in 1927. The theatre seats 1,362. In 1977, the structure was bought by Nederlander Organization and renamed for playwright Neil Simon, who has had more productions staged on Broadway than any other living writer. The Neil Simon Theatre was the first Broadway theatre to be named after a living writer.
